Cancellation Policy

Should, for whatever reason, you have to cancel the booking, the deposit is non-refundable. If Client wishes to cancel the services, he/she/they must give JNA Productions at least  7 days written notice before the event date. Any cancellation after that point will result in balance due immediately.

Filming, Restrictions, and Environment

We make every effort to produce a quality film and ensure all our equipment is of the highest quality and regularly maintained. We employ several back-up strategies for sound and vision, however, we cannot be held responsible for any lighting, sound or interference issues caused by circumstances outside our control. This includes camera/equipment failure, adverse lighting, noise issues and restrictions imposed by venues. 

We use our professional expertise and discretion to ensure that significant parts of the day are recorded. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to record every aspect of the day as filming takes place 'live." We make every effort to arrive at locations on time, but we cannot be held responsible for lateness or non-attendance caused by circumstances outside our control such as traffic delays, severe weather conditions, unforeseen illness/incapacity, accident, technical, camera or equipment failure. In such circumstances we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements. 

We aim to be as discreet as possible during the day and work alongside the official photographer. We follow the events of the day as they happen and therefore, are not in control of the setting. This may lead to some images being in high shadow/contrast or partial/temporary obstruction of subjects being filmed or issues of low/mumbled/no sound. We may be unable to take footage if the official photographer is not willing to allow filming when they are working. 

Restrictions imposed by others (church, photographer, guests, reception, etc.) and the constraints of the physical environment, safety, weather, poor acoustic conditions or other conditions outside our control can affect the quality and extent of the video coverage possible and JNA Productions will not be responsible for scenes not included. It is therefore important and the responsibility of the Client to discuss and gain permissions with the venue (church/wedding venue/etc.) where you are having your wedding filmed. They may have filming restrictions that could impact  the quality of your wedding film. JNA Productions will not record any event in the rain or other inclement weather as it would damage our equipment. If weather conditions prohibit filming the event either in part or in whole and arrangements have not been made to move event indoors, retainer and moneys paid are non-refundable.

JNA Productions cannot guarantee video quality in adverse lighting, weather conditions, or in rooms generating a strong color tinge to the light which may not be satisfactorily correctable during editing. It should be noted that filming in low light situations (e.g. small rooms, candlelight, disco/dance areas, evenings and nights outdoors) may impact the quality of the image captured by the camera. The client should acknowledge that videography requires reasonable lighting, and that production may be compromised due to low or poor light levels. Environmental audio is recorded during certain parts of the day such as the ceremony and speeches. We will take great care that audio is recorded as professional as possible but we are not responsible for extraneous sounds such as, but not limited to, air conditioning units, the ringing of mobile phones, passing emergency vehicles, crying children, coughing etc.

Health and Safety

We will work with Health and Safety issues in mind and reserve the right not to film in dangerous or unsafe situations. 

Editing

All editing decisions are to the videographer’s discretion. We aim to have a copy of the final film available for you within 3 months of your wedding day. However, this is only a guide as a quality product is important for you and us.

We will do our utmost to include suggestions and ideas from couples, providing these are made in writing (letter or email) and before the wedding day, however, we cannot guarantee that they will be included.

You must notify us in writing within 7 days of receipt of the final DVD/Blu-ray/USB of any faults or playback issues and we will make every reasonable attempt to resolve them. Should we not hear from you within 7 days we will assume you are happy with the DVD/Blu-ray/USB.

Damages

Client agrees to pay for all damages to JNA Productions equipment caused by the negligence of Client or any of the event guests. Full payment of damaged items must be received within 48 hours of occurrence. 

Limitation of Liability in Case of Loss or Damage

In the event that videography materials provided to Client by JNA Productions hereunder are damaged, destroyed, or lost, either during processing, through equipment malfunction, in transport, through the mail, through casualty, accident, fire, strike, or otherwise, JNA Productions’ liability to Client shall be limited to the return of any monies advanced to JNA Productions. We reserve the right to dispose of any digital files if unclaimed after 1 year passed the event date.

Copyright, Image & Video Release

By signing the agreement, you acknowledge that JNA Productions may use video of you and your guests for promotional and marketing use on our website, social media, and how we see fit.  JNA Productions shall own the copyright in all works created hereunder and shall retain the exclusive right to make reproductions of such works. Client acknowledges and accepts that video taken hereunder may be freely reprinted and utilized by JNA Productions in a published promotional book, in advertising material, or for editorial or any other purposes, whether for display within or outside of our offices. 

Miscellaneous

All modifications must be in writing. If any provision of the agreement shall be held invalid, the remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect. The agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and all disputes in connection herewith shall be heard in the County of Los Angeles, California.
